The victory matches Cale Yarborough for fifth in career wins. This is his first victory and first top-10 finish in 2011. Gordon breaks 66-race winless streak dating to his last win on April 5, 2009 at Texas Motor Speedway. This is his second victory and 18th top-10 finish in 25 races at Phoenix International Raceway. He won this race in 2007. Kyle Busch (second) posted his eighth top-10 finish in 13 races at Phoenix International Raceway. It is his second top-10 finish in 2011. Jimmie Johnson (third) posted his 14th top-10 finish in 16 races at Phoenix International Raceway. Andy Lally (31st) was the highest finishing rookie. Kyle Busch leads the point standings by 3 points over Kurt Busch.
