Chris Buescher Wins after Intense Finish at Toledo Speedway;

Ty Dillon Crowned 29th ARCA Racing Series Champion

(TOLEDO, Ohio) - The smoke cleared and a path opened, leaving Chris Buescher to drive to his third win in the last four ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards races and his third victory in two years at Toledo Speedway.

Buescher's victory in the Federated Car Care 200 sealed the ARCA Racing Series Rookie of the Year title for the Roulo Brothers Racing driver by two points over Ty Dillon, 440-438. Buescher also won at DuQuoin, Ill. and Salem, Ind., both in September.

Dillon finished second in the race to complete his rookie season and the 2011 ARCA Racing Series championship.

At 19, Dillon (No. 41 Bass Pro Shops/Hemelgarn Chevrolet) is the 29th champion and the youngest champion in the history of the ARCA Racing Series. The Richard Childress Racing driver is the first rookie champion since Andy Hillenburg won ARCA's top prize in 1995.

After leading 46 of the first 164 laps and losing the lead to Dillon, Buescher (No. 17 Reliance Tool/David Ragan Ford Ford) held second place until being passed on Lap 188 by Brennan Poole (No. 25 Engineered Components Chevrolet).

Poole put Dillon in his sights and closed the lead margin as the final 10 laps started to tick off, hoping to deny the eventual champion of his eighth victory of the year. Poole, who won at Salem, Ind. in his ARCA debut in May, drove equal with Dillon in the fourth turn on Lap 197 - making side-by-side contact - and passed him one lap later.

Poole held the lead through Lap 199, but Dillon bumped Poole out of the way on Lap 200, which would have been the race's final circuit if not for the caution flag thrown by ARCA Racing Series officials. Before the yellow flag flew, though, Buescher - who had been one second behind in the waning laps - drove past a stalled Dillon and Poole's turned car to take the lead.

Buescher held the lead until the green and white flags flew together on Lap 206. He then drove away to the win on a one-lap shootout, matching his final position in both races at Toledo last year.

Chad McCumbee (No. 1 ModSpace Ford) finished third, Menards Pole Award presented by Ansell winner Tom Hessert (No. 52 Federated Auto Parts Chevrolet) was fourth, and Grant Enfinger (No. 36 Hoosier Tire Midwest/RaceTires.com Dodge) ended the race fifth.

Ryan Wilson, Clint King, Chad Hackenbracht, Charles Evans Jr., and Jared Marks finished sixth through 10th, respectively.

More race information will be available in a detailed press release from the ARCA Racing Series.

The ARCA Racing Series will wrap up the 2011 season with the Championship Awards Banquet at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, Ky., near Cincinnati, on Saturday, December 10.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards featured 19 events at 16 tracks on its 2011 schedule. The series has crowned an ARCA national champion each year since its inaugural season in 1953, and has toured over 200 race tracks in 28 states since its inception. In 2011, the series has tested the abilities of drivers and race teams over the most diverse schedule of stock car racing events in the world, visiting tracks ranging from 0.4 mile to 2.66 miles in length, on both paved and dirt surfaces as well as a left- and right-turn road course.

Founded by John Marcum in 1953 in Toledo, Ohio, the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is recognized among the leading sanctioning bodies in the country. Closing in on completing its sixth decade after hundreds of thousands of miles of racing, ARCA administers over 100 race events each season in two professional touring series and local weekly events.

For Immediate Release:

Chris Buescher and Ty Dillon Tied Atop ARCA's

Hoosier Tire Superspeedway Challenge with Kansas Race Next

(TOLEDO, Ohio) - Ty Dillon appears to be coasting to the overall ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards driver championship, but faces a worthy challenger in Chris Buescher as the two rookie drivers pursue the Hoosier Tire Superspeedway Challenge Award.

With 1135 points each, Dillon and Buescher have put their owners into a tie at the top of the standings for one of ARCA's most prestigious awards. Dillon has four speedway wins and Buescher has put six top-fives to use, making their teams tied with one race to go in the seven-event series.

The Hoosier Tire Superspeedway Challenge Award is given to the owner of the ARCA Racing Series team scoring the most race points - not counting qualifying or lap bonuses - in the seven races at Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Chicagoland Speedway, Pocono Raceway (two), Michigan International Speedway, and Kansas Speedway.

Friday's Kansas Lottery 98.9 at Kansas Speedway will be the final event of the competition, and the award will be presented on Saturday, December 10 at the ARCA Racing Series championship banquet in Covington, Ky.

Of the two main competitors, the driver that finishes ahead of the other on Friday will win the Hoosier Tire Superspeedway Challenge, provided they finish in 27th place or higher. Neither driver has finished outside of the top 25 in a race in their careers.

Based in Lakeville, Ind., Hoosier Racing Tire Corp. produces the Official Tire of the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards and is part of one of the longest-standing sponsor relationships in ARCA's 59-year history. Hoosier has participated as a supplier for ARCA-sanctioned events since the 1960s and has been the exclusive tire provider for the ARCA Racing Series since 1995.

A chart showcasing points earned through six races is below. Dillon's team is owned by Richard Childress, while Buescher's is owned by Russell Roulo. Frank Kimmel, a driver and owner, and Grant Enfinger, who drives for owner Mike Allgaier, are the only other drivers still mathematically eligible for the award.
